Mobile in India is a leading mobile services business which is built upon innovating and developing cutting edge mobile products, building a large audience for these products, and then monetizing these products through sophisticated advertising services.In addition, distribution through partners (mobile operators, OEMs, etc.) is a critical component of our mobile strategy.
The mobile Product Manager will lead the definition, deployment, and evolution of mobile products for India.
The ideal candidate will have a technology background, a solid understanding of mobile products, and experience working with mobile operators and OEMs. This individual will be responsible for prioritizing market and partner requirements, writing product specifications, and driving product development and deployment. He/she will work hand-in-hand with Business Development, Engineering, User Design, QA, and Marketing. The individual must lead, influence, inspire, and convince at all levels of partner and organizations.
He/she must balance energy and passion with common sense, technical understanding, and well-grounded business instincts. |
| Specific Duties : |
Design, implement, and deploy mobile products with a cross-functional global or regional team Support Business Development on sales and partnership opportunities Support Marketing in promotional activities to drive up product usage Research competitors and competitive products |
| Specific Skills : |
5-8 years mobile product management or development Experience with wap, client, and sms products Experience working with mobile operators and OEMs, both in the GSM and CDMA space Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Team player Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline.
